Hello everyone, I hope this newsletter finds you all well, and not too soggy in the rainy areas. I saw on the news that some places are getting tornadoes and others being evacuated due to flooding. We don’t live in either of these areas, and I hope none of you do either. We had a bad flood here a few years ago when a dam up on the hill went over its banks, we had several feet of water in the basement and we couldn’t even cross the street because it was all running down the road like it was a river. It has been raining here for days now, we are very damp, but it really hasn’t cooled down much, just staying muggy and humid.

I am sure out basement is starting to fill up with water, but I haven’t gotten up the courage to look down there yet. It is always damp, so therefore full of mold and fungi, which I am seriously allergic to, and I didn’t feel like having an asthma attack just to see what is going on down there. We don’t store anything down there, other than the furnace, hot water heater and such, everything else either belongs to our landlord, or is garbage and junk left by previous tenants, we learned with the last flood not to store anything down there. LOL!

I have been writing and posting articles by other authors on DOD for quite some time now, things I think our members would enjoy reading or could learn from, as a matter of fact, today, I am going to start adding these newsletters to the mix, maybe someone will see what they are missing and subscribe. LOL!
