Our son is now gone to spend a month with his Pappy (my dad) and the house is too quiet. I am so used to the sounds of little boy and friends at play; it just seems weird to have it this quiet. We made great time on the trip, with no major storms or anything hitting us on the way, and no outrageous traffic jams, either. Now, that’s a first. The trip home seemed really fast, but that could be because I slept almost the whole way.

We made great time on the trip, with no major storms or anything hitting us on the way, and no outrageous traffic jams, either. Now, that’s a first. The trip home seemed really fast, but that could be because I slept almost the whole way. My poor darling hubby must have been so bored, but he seemed to weather it well, so I guess it wasn’t too rough on him. Speaking of that, he hasn’t been sleeping anyway, he was up for over 24 hours until he laid down this morning, then slept a few hours until some friends stopped by, so he was back up again, and is still wide awake playing video games. Interesting relationship we seem to have here anymore, with my meds, I can’t get enough sleep, and he can hardly sleep at all. Talk about two ships that pass in the night. LOL!
