Hey everyone, welcome to another fun DOD newsletter. I really wanted to get this out to you all yesterday but our internet kept going down all day, I could barely get online at all, and no sooner did I get back on, then it would crash again. This is just getting ridiculous, I mean, it is not like I am using dial-up, I am using and paying over $40 a month for digital cable internet. They started having some problems a few weeks ago and it just seems they can’t get it fixed.

This is just getting ridiculous, I mean, it is not like I am using dial-up, I am using and paying over $40 a month for digital cable internet. They started having some problems a few weeks ago and it just seems they can’t get it fixed. But, you know of course, they don’t lower your bill at all for the times it is down, they still charge you the full amount as if you had access and were able to use it all month long, and I have to say this is just getting to be unacceptable for the fees they charge, a regular monthly usage fee, modem rental, plus franchise, and digital cable fees. Since my disabilities prevent me from working a regular job, I can only work online, and some of my husband’s classes use online tests and study guides, so we have to have a reliable connection, which is the whole reason we stopped using dial-up, but it is starting to seem like our cable connection is no more reliable.

The reason I called it a kangadogroo is when I did the last newsletter game, which was all DOD trivia, almost everyone that answered thought he was a dog, very few people recognized that our mascot was supposed to be a kangaroo, so I ended up not counting that question, I also ended up throwing out the first question where I asked everyone to find the earliest post by me that they could on the site, because everyone took it literal and hunted for the username ME, when I had meant me as in verwon, myself, and to find one of my earliest posts. I couldn’t argue with that, as everyone did find an old user from a few years ago, whose site username was ME@.
