Savvy Savings Online! Free Shipping- No Gas Money!

Well I must say with the ever rising costs of gas these days, shopping online makes even more sense to help you save a bigger bundle when making your purchases.

Gas prices are continually on the rise and you could save yourself time and money
by shopping through some of the fabulous online merchants.
There are so many stores that offer some wonderful bargain shipping deals!

For instance, one of my absolute favorites is Amazon.com you can get free shipping EVERYDAY with almost any purchase of $25 or more! That is huge savings when you don't even have to leave the house and they ship it free to your door!

Several other merchants offer free shipping on $50 or $75 or $100 purchases, and others have flat $5.00 shipping rates like Old Navy is one that comes to mind.

If there are necessity items you can purchase and save some extra cash to keep in your pocket it sure is worth the clicking and ordering!
Definately check out the dealofday home page for super hot offers that are limited time or newly released.

Several of the office stores such as Staples and Office Depot offer Free Overnight shipping with any $50 purchase and one thing I like about those as well as the price is there is no LUGGING those heavy packages of papers or cases of paper to the car, they bring it right to your home or office.

I hope you can save as much money on the items you need on a daily basis and that the online shopping specials and coupons can help you out!

Need More Space on Your Hard Drive?

Do you have so many digital photos and Videos and Music and other media on your current computer that it is bursting at the seams?

If you can relate, you might want to check into the New External Hard Drives out there,
You can get an external hard drive to move all those files over to and have those files
handy at any computer at anytime but also relieve the pressure off your computer's current hard drive and allow it to work more freely and efficiently.

Its so easy with the digital photos to really fill up the hard drive and before you know it there is no more room to do much of anything and the performance of your PC is just getting slower and slower.

This is more cost effective if you cannot afford a new Computer right now too!

You can get the Seagate Free Agent 250 gb External Hard Drive for only $79.99 right now and store your precious photos and memories on there.

Or a Western Digital My Book 500 GB external Hard Drive for only $149.99.

These are great and connect right to your USB port on your computer so they are very universal and easy to use.

Just think of the load of files you can shift over to one of these from your current computer! Even if you just want some portable files to take along with you what a great way to take along your most important information! These are very compact and don't take up alot of space on your desk.

Of course I would also suggest backing up your most important files and photos to DVD as well for safe keeping!
and if you don't currently have a DVD writer you can buy an external DVD writer for around $69.99 to $99.99!

Shopping for cell phones!

There are so many features and options and choices and brands it can really be overwhelming when you are researching to buy a new cell phone.
You can spend hours going over all the features and which ones you think would work best for you, do you need internet access, they have the blackberry phones with all the loaded up bells and whistles or do you want a bar phone? a music and media phone? a camera phone? or a flip phone? they all have their own pros and cons...
Here is a great tool on Deal of Day to help you with your wireless phone decision making!

First you get to choose what style of phone you want and then what type of service which can be equally as confusing. With alot of our experiences we have always seemed to get the best reception with alot of the Nokia phones, and now there are so many other brands that are equally as good, the technology is improving all the time.

Then you are choosing a carrier, which has the better tower coverage in your area, you don't want to get stuck with a company that has horrible reception in your area or you will never be happy.

Are you melting yet?

The summer is officially in full swing and my how the tempertures have climbed in the past few weeks! It is Scorching!
I hope you are staying cool and refreshed and not too much abundance of heat in your area. The first of summer here in Oklahoma we had our fill of rain and flooding in so many areas and now the heat is extreme, this week they have issued excessive heat warnings in our area. Funny how the weather can go to such extremes. As of right now the temperatures are in the 100 + degree areas and it is very still so no wind and after our month or so of rain the humidity is way up so it feels even hotter out! Whew! It sure makes me feel wimpy. Well some of the ways you can stay cool is of course to stay inside with an air conditioner. If you have ceiling fans or any type of fans to stir up the air be sure to run those and it will allow you to keep the house slightly higher temperature and feel cooler and save on that electricity bill. Right now the nighttime temperatures aren't even giving much relief it has been sweltering.

Choosing Cash Back Credit Cards

by: Debbie Dragon

Many merchants and large department stores offer their customers credit cards with a “cash back” option, hoping that the credit cards will entice their customers to do more of their shopping in their particular store, and charge their purchases with the credit card in order to receive the cash back reward instead of making purchases with cash.

Save Money on Home Improvement Projects

Many of us avoid home improvement projects due to their expense.
Granted if you are contemplating a "second-story" addition to your
home, or the construction of a new "game-room", then most likely
you will need to hire a general contractor to complete this task.
However, if you are interested in projects like painting a room,
removing acoustic texture from the ceiling (I just did this),
installing laminate flooring, wallpaper, landscaping, etc. then
you may be able to accomplish the task(s) all on your own, or with
minimal assistance.
