Of course, the CSR expected me to have ESP, she told me that when it acts up like that, they need to know right away so they can get it fixed, to which I asked her how I was supposed to know it was a problem on my end instead of theirs when every time we get rain and lightning the digital cable goes out? I really am not psychic and I cannot see into the future. She also assured me that a loose cable could not be causing my type of problem. HUH???? Everything feeding into the house is alright, it is the outbound connection that is messed up and there is no chance it could be a disconnected or loosely connected cable?

Hello everyone. Here I am once again; behind on the newsletters and you have my tremendous apologies. I know I mention the internet problems we were having, and it just kept going on and on and getting worse, so I had to call customer service to check it out. The woman I spoke with tried everything, including refreshing the digital signal and etc. but she just wasn’t getting a response from our modem. The readings coming in to our modem were fine, but nothing was making the connection in response. It kind of reminded me of the time last summer when I was going to try PeoplePC dial up service for awhile since it was cheaper and they claimed reliability and offered a free trial month. I called their toll free number and went through the whole sign up process, then they sent me to a tech to help me set up my dialing properties. The tech said he was going to give me a toll free number to dial online and download their software, and I told him I didn’t want their software and browser, I just wanted to necessary dial-up properties and I would set up the connection myself, to which he replied that if I did not download their software then I would have no dialer in my computer since Window’s PCs do not come with dialers. The incongruity of this statement, after wanting me to dial on to a toll free number to download their software, then trying to tell me that I had no dialer in my computer made me burst out laughing. However, this lovely tech who is supposed to know more about computers and dialers than I do, totally ignoring the irony of his own statements, kept insisting that I could not get online and would not have a dialer in my computer without downloading their software. So I told them immediately I was not going to download anything, cancel my order, as I would rather find someone else who did not want me to download their junk into my PC. So he transferred my call back to CSR so they could handle the cancellation, and of course, the CSR swore up and down that what the tech had told me was the absolute truth, I had to dial on through that toll free number and download the software from their site, because there was no dialer already existing in my computer. At this point, I gave up the argument and just made sure they cancelled everything and hung up! The brilliance of some people astounds me.
