Freebies Galore---Samples and More!!
Hello my friends and freebie/deal lovers! Welcome to another great newsletter, and I know this one is great, why? Well, I went on a freebie hunt again, to try to find you all some new goodies to sign up for and enjoy. There may be a few that have been posted on the boards, but most of these are new, I haven't seen them on the Freebies board yet, so most of them will be new to you as well, at least I hope so. I decided to do this, since my time to sit here is so limited right now due to my pain levels, I figured it is a good way to make up for my part of the newsletter being so short and to the point.

Having a Heatwave!
Hello everyone and welcome to another newsletter on a heatwave day. For those who have suffered power outages while roasting in their homes, I am very sorry and I sure hope you fared well through it with no major ill-effects. One of our own mods, katinhats, had her power out for over 12 hours yesterday and she and her husband were truly miserable and feeling like they were being baked in a casserole before it was over.

FREEBIES for EVERYONE!!
Hi everyone. I hope you are all doing great and enjoying the summer weather, we have had some very hot and humid days, due to repeated thunder storms, but at least they do cool it off a little while they are raging, the humidity doesn't hit until afterwards.

Well my Homesick Angel is Home!
Three weeks turned out to be his max time away from mom, dad, our furry beasties, and his friends here. I was rather amused though, when my dad tried to talk him out of feeling that way, yet when his friend Joey stayed over for 6 nights in a row, then had to go home, he said that he "had a home to go to and need to go home to it!" Silly, I know.

Deals and Some Sad News!
Hello my DOD friends. Another week has flown by and here it is Thursday again already. I am looking forward to a peaceful and quiet weekend, WITH NO COMPANY for a change. I just need a break and some relaxation time. We have had company for the past several weekends in a row with my friends car wreck and all. With our son our of town, Andy and I were really hoping for some time to relax and spend some quality time together, plus maybe get in some family visiting time with some relatives we haven't seen for a long time. I have already been informed that when we go down to pick up Tom at the end of the month, I have many relatives that want us to stop in because we haven't visited them in a long time either.

Some people! LOL!
Of course, the CSR expected me to have ESP, she told me that when it acts up like that, they need to know right away so they can get it fixed, to which I asked her how I was supposed to know it was a problem on my end instead of theirs when every time we get rain and lightning the digital cable goes out? I really am not psychic and I cannot see into the future. She also assured me that a loose cable could not be causing my type of problem. HUH???? Everything feeding into the house is alright, it is the outbound connection that is messed up and there is no chance it could be a disconnected or loosely connected cable?

I found some great freebies!
Hey everyone, welcome to another fun DOD newsletter. I really wanted to get this out to you all yesterday but our internet kept going down all day, I could barely get online at all, and no sooner did I get back on, then it would crash again. This is just getting ridiculous, I mean, it is not like I am using dial-up, I am using and paying over $40 a month for digital cable internet. They started having some problems a few weeks ago and it just seems they can’t get it fixed.

Contest Winner Announced & Some Great Deals!
Well hello again my DOD friends, it has been awhile since my last newsletter, I sure hope you all enjoyed your Fourth of July celebrations and that they didn’t get rained out. I apologize that I did not have a newsletter out when I was supposed to, I desperately wanted to have one ready and congratulate the new contest winner, but my ISP crashed and had problems for over 2 days, so I couldn’t get online to do it. I am very, very sorry about that, but being as I do have cable internet, problems like this are not a regularly expected occurrence. They actually had problems with all of their digital cable, the advanced channels, On Demand services and etc. Nothing was accessible.

Freebies Newsletter!!
Our son is now gone to spend a month with his Pappy (my dad) and the house is too quiet. I am so used to the sounds of little boy and friends at play; it just seems weird to have it this quiet. We made great time on the trip, with no major storms or anything hitting us on the way, and no outrageous traffic jams, either. Now, that’s a first. The trip home seemed really fast, but that could be because I slept almost the whole way.

DOD Newsletter, Your Chance To WIN!!!
Hello everyone, I hope this newsletter finds you all well, and not too soggy in the rainy areas. I saw on the news that some places are getting tornadoes and others being evacuated due to flooding. We don’t live in either of these areas, and I hope none of you do either. We had a bad flood here a few years ago when a dam up on the hill went over its banks, we had several feet of water in the basement and we couldn’t even cross the street because it was all running down the road like it was a river. It has been raining here for days now, we are very damp, but it really hasn’t cooled down much, just staying muggy and humid.

Beanie Mania
You know, it all started innocently enougn. I had a few stuffed animals and decided I really liked beanie babies, they were so soft and cute. I had one made by Ty and several other oddball brands. Then, one time when I was talking to a friend via email, I mentioned I liked beanies, she said she had one she wanted to send me. A Ty poodle that still had all tags attached, in perfect condition. I told her not to worry about, but she insisted on sending it. I have to say, the day it arrived in the mail, I was hooked. When I put it next to my other Ty beanie, all the other oddballs just paled in comparison.

Darn Young Whippersnapper!
Hello all, this is Mr. Whiskers, I am borrowing mom's computer while she is asleep. I have heard her talk about this website an awful lot and thought it would be a good place to air my grievances, since she says there are so many wonderful people here.

The Cat Learned How to Work the WHAT?
When I carried him home, he was this tiny little bundle of fur, approximately three weeks old. He is mostly white, with some mutlicolored stripes, cute beyong belief, but he was being abused and starved at his current home, so I just couldn't leave him there. I tucked him under my sweatshirt and off we went. My husband and son came home from their respective schools, they both fell in love, we named him Machiavelli, and that was that.

Stupid Questions Deserve Stupid Answers!
You all know what I am talking about, there is always someone, in every crowd, who asks the stupidest question imaginable, when the answer is so obvious it is practically slapping them in the face. It may happen in a store or on the phone, but it sure makes you wish that your parents had never taught you any manners.

How I got to Play an April Fool's Joke, Before I was even Born!
I will start this by saying that yes, I did miss being an April Fool, but only by a tiny margin. I was born just twenty minutes after midnight on April 2nd, and the events of the prior day in my home were quite interesting to say the least.

Spring Flings
That's right, Spring is upon us. We've been buried under snow in Punxsy for so long that I was starting to wonder if we would ever see grass again! We bought a grill last fall and barely got to use it so I went hunting some deals for all of us bargain shoppers so we can get ready to have a flingy Spring and a swinging Summer.
