Well my Homesick Angel is Home!

Three weeks turned out to be his max time away from mom, dad, our furry beasties, and his friends here. I was rather amused though, when my dad tried to talk him out of feeling that way, yet when his friend Joey stayed over for 6 nights in a row, then had to go home, he said that he "had a home to go to and need to go home to it!" Silly, I know.

Hello again all my friends and avid newsletter readers, I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I had planned to get a newsletter out for you over the weekend, but then calamity struck, that's right, our poor little man started calling every day, for several days in a row, with a new tragedy every day. I finally ask several pointed questions which finally delved into the heart of the matter, my darling "angel baby" had gotten homesick.

Joey is about 2 years older than Tom, and he was also a great one for trying to put Tom on a guilt trip about leaving a little early, he used such lines as "If you leave early it means you don’t really like me and want to be friends with me" and other such creative claims. Yesterday, after he knew we would have arrived to pick him up. he still called and tried to talk Tom into staying with the claim the he wanted to be able to come over to my dad's and play one last time, before we left. By this time, Tom had enough of the antics and attitude and simply said, "No, sorry, I am going home and we are leaving very soon!" LOL! Smart boy. Anyway, this resulted in my having to get things together for another long car trip, that I wasn't quite prepared for yet, not to mention how much I was hurting after the trip. Between rushing to get some stuff done and together to deliver to my dad before we left, and the trip itself, I was in bed quite early last night. I guess I had better find some good freebies to send in an extra newsletter this week, to make up for my lack, and you all have my great apologies.
